Home for the Holidays Adoption Special: Dec. 13-23, 2025!

Looking for a furry friend this holiday season? Friends of Strays Animal Shelter is making it easier than ever to adopt with its Home for the Holidays Adoption Special!

From Saturday, Dec. 13 through Tuesday, Dec. 23, adoption fees are reduced by $50 for dogs and puppies and $25 for kittens and cats. All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated as age-appropriate, and ready to bring love into their new homes.

“Every pet at our shelter is waiting to experience the peace and comfort of a loving home. Love can truly save lives, so if you’re ready, now is the perfect time to pour your love and compassion into changing a life for the better,” said Dara Worthington, Friends of Strays CEO. 

Friends of Strays is open for adoptions Tuesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adoptable dogs are located at 2911 47th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, and adoptable cats are located at The Cat Box, 3015 46th Ave. N., St. Petersburg.
