Our pets are available on a first-come basis. If you see someone you're interested in, come in and meet them during our Adoption Center hours.

If you are looking to adopt a dog and already have a dog at home, please bring them with you for a meet and greet.

All our adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Our adoption fees vary depending on species and age. As a non-profit organization, all adoption fees go right back to the animals! Friends of Strays does not identify dogs by breed. All of our dogs are labeled as a “mixed breed” unless we have a valid reason to label them otherwise. Read our full statement on breed labeling here.
