Celebrate Christmas in July by helping cats in need!

We hope our community can help us help more cats in need this summer!
Many of the cats who come into our care have unknown histories. Most are at risk for euthanasia in other shelters, sometimes for medical needs. Thanks to Joan Hutchinson and Joe Beaulieu, we are often able to provide for the care the cats need. These two cat lovers created the ‘Prima & Ziti’ Emergency Medical Fund (named after the cats they adopted from Friends of Strays, pictured here!).
Shadow, for example came to us with a previous injury to his back leg. His leg had to be amputated, but now he's living with far less pain and suffering, and he's in a loving home! Velvet suffers from chronic bladder stones and needed a surgery to remove two large stones. She also needs a special diet for life to reduce further risk of stones. She was at risk for euthanasia, but we were able to take her in and treat her.
Without this special fund, we often would not have the resources to save lives like Shadow, Velvet, or many others.
From x-rays to examine an old injury to treatment for diabetes and specialized surgery, this fund is running low and we need your support to replenish it. Would you consider making a gift to our Prima and Ziti fund so we can help more cats at risk?
