Volunteers are the heart of FoS and without their time, talents, and resources, we would not be able to save the lives of thousands of animals each year. Individual opportunities may include...

- Adoption Center/Greeter
- Dog Walking
- Events
- Happy Cats Socialization Training
- Housekeeping
- Dog Care/Cleaning
- Animal Transport
- Return to Field Transport
- Donation Pick Up
- Community Cat Trapping
Off-Site Volunteer opportunities
If our on-site volunteer opportunities aren't the right fit for your schedule; you have a child under 18 in need of volunteer hours or service projects; or your team or company wants to do a team building activity that supports Friends of Strays, there are lots of ways to help outside of the shelter as well! Check out the guide below for some project ideas that you can do at home or in your community to help cats and dogs in need.
