An update regarding yesterday's closure

We are deeply saddened to share that Shannon, a member of our Animal Care & Enrichment Team, lost her life Sunday evening in a devastating car accident that also claimed the lives of her brother, mother, and her mother's husband.

Shannon joined Friends of Strays last year and had become a steadfast, hardworking member of our team. She was a compassionate animal lover with multiple pets of her own.

Our thoughts are with her friends and family.

Friends of Strays has resumed operations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but we ask for your empathy and patience with our staff as we grieve the loss of our coworker and friend.
