Shelter, self-trapping closures for Hurricane Milton

Due to expected inclement weather from Hurricane Milton:

Friends of Strays will be closed to the public beginning at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2024. We plan to be closed Tuesday, Oct. 8 and from there we will assess when it will be safe to reopen. Please check our website and/or social media for our reopening date. 
Our MEOW Now self-trapping program (FKA Pinellas Cats Alive) will be closed Monday, Oct. 7 through Thursday, Oct. 10. We plan to reopen intake Tuesday, Oct. 15 (the shelter is closed Monday, Oct. 14, in observance of Indigenous People's Day), but please check our website for any extended closures. 

We appreciate everyone's understanding during this time!
