FOS closed for deep cleaning beginning July 1

Friends of Strays will be temporarily closed to the public beginning Wednesday, July 1 for a deep cleaning. This closure applies to both The Cat Box Adoption Center and our headquarters.
During this time, adoptions and intakes will be paused. TNVR intake is closed Sunday and Monday.
We have been experiencing an increase in upper respiratory infections among the cats in our care. While these illnesses are generally not life-threatening, we've seen more severe symptoms that have been slower to respond to treatment than usual. This temporary closure will allow our sick cats extra time to rest and recover while also helping reduce exposure for healthy cats.
Our goal is to reopen on July 8, but please check our website and social media for the latest updates before visiting.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we take this proactive step to protect the health and well-being of the animals in our care.
