We hope you will join Friends of Strays at our 6th annual Wags & Whiskers Gala, back this year with a spooky, fun theme! Feel free to dress in a Halloween costume or your favorite festive wear for a fun-filled night! Whatever party attire you choose, make sure it allows you to move so you can dance the night away in support of Friends of Strays. Will there be a haunted house? Maybe! Gifts under a tree? Perhaps! We have planned many surprises for the best night of the year!

The Wags & Whiskers Gala is our largest fundraiser and is vital to our organization, providing much-needed support for daily operations and special projects. Thank you in advance for supporting our mission to end pet homelessness in Pinellas County and beyond.

Donate to our Silent Auction!

We are seeking donations to create our silent auction baskets! If you, or someone you know, would like to donate something that can be included, please reach out to: Karen, Director of Development, at karen@friendsofstrays.org or call 727-522-6566 ext 114.

Examples of items we'd love to get as donations: 

• Hotel stays

• Spa packages

• Restaurant gift certificates or cards

• A round of golf at a local course (or our new Top Golf!)

• Local sight-seeing tickets like museum visits or concerts

• Adventure certificates like jet skiing, parasailing, or air tours OR new items like stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, or bikes!

• Brewery or distillery tours and tastings

This is our premier sponsorship. We will only be offering one sponsorship at this level. The presenting sponsor will have the opportunity to address the attendees to talk about their organization and kick off the gala with a welcome toast. The sponsor at this level will be billed as the presenting sponsor on all event-related print and social media material, including the following:
